Open the tool on your computer, scan the QR code with your phone, and the phone camera becomes a document scanner. Pages are auto-detected, auto-captured, cropped, corrected and sent to your computer, where you generate a PDF.
No - the scanner runs in your phone browser. Scanning the QR code opens it directly.
Browsers only allow live camera access on secure (HTTPS) connections. On a plain-HTTP local network the scanner automatically falls back to your phone camera app - scanning still works.
Yes. The scanner captures pages continuously - place the next page after each automatic capture. You can review, re-crop, rotate, filter and delete pages before generating the PDF.
Files and privacy
Uploaded and processed files are stored temporarily in private storage and deleted automatically after 24 hours. Registered users can see and delete their file history anytime.
No. All processing happens on this server using open-source libraries - your files are never sent to third-party APIs.
Guests and free accounts: 10 MB per file. Premium: 500 MB per file.

Some tools need a server component (LibreOffice, Ghostscript, Imagick). Rather than fake the result, the tool is honestly marked unavailable until the component is installed.
No. PDFs made from scans contain images of the pages; text recognition is not currently performed.
